Unsolved riddle…

Can anyone solve this riddle?

I posted it a few weeks ago but there have been no attempts to solve it.

Are you up for the challenge? 🙂   🙂

train19A train leaves from Halifax, Nova Scotia heading towards Vancouver, British Columbia at 120 km/h. Three hours later, a train leaves Vancouver heading towards Halifax at 180 km/h. Assume there’s exactly 6000 kilometers between Vancouver and Halifax. When they meet, which train is closer to Halifax?

  1. Dear miss scarrott the answer is both trains would be at the same spot when they meet therefore they are both equally close to Halifax from bruke

  2. I think the 1st train will be closer because the faster one will get closer but the he start will be a faster start

  3. Hi Miss scarrott

I think the first train would be closer because when it left at 120km per hour, 3 hours later the other one theft at 180km per hour and there speed is 60km apart, also they have to travel 6000km so part way through-out
the journey so they first would be the winner

  4. Well done Bruke and Jessica,
They will both be the same distance from Halifax when they meet because they are in the same place,
    From Miss Scarrott
